1- BIG BAG BITUMEN is a type of bagged bitumen which after being solidified, placed in special 1 ton capacity bags and thereby suitably transported. Inner liner of the bag is a meltable polyethylene plastic film. Outer layer of the bag is made up of polypropylene plastic. In order to facilitate filling operation, the inner liner is inflated by means of a blower. The big bag where the bitumen solidifies after filling, is transported by means of a forklift to where it will be used. In order to remelt the bitumen, outer layer of the big bags is cut at the bottom and the bitumen is molten in a high performance kiln. All these operations are done in our OKUR BIG BAG BITUMEN MELTING PLANT. When the bitumen reaches the desired temperature, it is pumped to service tanks via a pump.
